HISTORY OF ONE PIECE
One Piece (ワ ン ピ ー ス wanpīsu) is an anime and
manga about a group of pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy who went looking for a
legendary treasure called One Piece. Luffy into a rubber man who has the power
to lengthen his body after inadvertently eating the fruit Gomu Gomu, one of the
fruit of the devil. During the trip Luffy met many new friends and enemies are
diverse.
One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda. Comic started in 1997 in Shonen Jump
published by Shueisha and still continues. TV version of his starts in October
1999. In Indonesia, the manga is published by Elex Media Komputindo and up to
now has reached volume to 60 more. His TV version, which was produced Toei, has
reached 500 episodes in Japan. Until now, One Piece has released 12 films, the
last one was released on December 15, 2012. In Indonesia alone RCTIdan ever
aired on Global TV.
In February 2005, One Piece record in Japan as a manga publishing the
fastest reach 100 million copies. Until now the One Piece is one of the
best-selling manga in the history of Japan with sales of more than 260 million
copies. Besides the One Piece manga also broke the record for the highest first
printing. One Piece a lot of praise among readers, especially in terms of
images, characters, humor, and stories.
One Piece manga began
serialized in Shonen Jump magazine issue # 34 on August 4, 1997. The anime
began to be produced by Toei Animation, Fuji Television on October 20, 1999. At first, Eiichiro Oda One
Piece plan will run about 5 years, and he has set the ending. But he was too
"enjoy" the story and now he does not know when One Piece will end.
One Piece is the
best-selling manga in the history of Shonen Jump. Manga is also why Shonen Jump

exceed the combined number 2 Naruto, no 3 Kimi ni Todoke, Fairy Tail No. 4, No.
5 Bleach, Bakuman No. 6, No. 7 Gintama, and No. 8 Fullmetal Alchemist One Piece
with total sales of more than 300 million copies.
One Piece also broke the
world record for the fastest selling with volume 63 sold 2,119,400 in 4 days
(although the previous record also held by One Piece volume 60 and 61).
Moreover One Piece Japan also set a record as the largest first print run. One
Piece volume 63 holds the Japanese record with 3.9 million copies in the first
printing (although the previous record held by One Piece 60, 61, and 62) the record
before the One Piece is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenixdengan 2.9
million copies.
